Types of Masonry Saws
Masonry Saws can be divided into a few broad categories: paver saws, masonry brick saws and block saws. Additionally, hand held gas powered demolition saws are also used. If you don't need a completely smooth cut that saws provide you might consider a splitter. Splitters are usually manual or hydraulic, more portable and cheaper than a saw. Additionally, depending on what you are cutting, you may be able to use a 10" tile saw fitted with an appropriate masonry blade or even a dry cutting blade in a hand held circular saw.
